Returns Policy

At Hitched Towbars, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. While we do not accept returns of items, we will replace any defective products to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Our Policy

We do not accept returns of items. However, we are committed to your satisfaction and will replace any item that is defective or does not meet our quality standards at no cost to you.

All defective item replacements are handled promptly to minimize any inconvenience to you.

Defective Item Replacement

If you receive a defective item or a product that doesn't meet our quality standards, we will replace it free of charge. This includes:

  • • Items that arrive damaged during shipping
  • • Products with manufacturing defects
  • • Items that don't function as intended
  • • Products that don't match the specifications described

Installation Services

Our professional installation services come with a comprehensive warranty. If you're not satisfied with the quality of installation, please contact us within 7 days and we'll arrange to inspect and rectify any issues at no additional cost.

How to Report a Defective Item

Step 1: Contact Us Immediately

Email us at contactus@hitchedtowbars.com or call us as soon as you discover the defect. Please include your order number, photos of the defective item, and a description of the issue.

Step 2: Receive Replacement Authorization

We'll review your case and provide you with a Replacement Authorization number and instructions for returning the defective item.

Step 3: Send Back Defective Item

We'll provide a prepaid return label. Package the defective item securely and include the authorization number. We'll send your replacement as soon as we receive the defective item.

Alternatively if the item is one we have fitted to your vehicle, we may arrange for one of our technicians to inspect the item on site and if found to be defective, replace it at that time.

Replacement Processing

Once we receive your defective item, we will inspect it and immediately process your replacement. In most cases, we can ship your replacement item within 1-2 business days.

We'll keep you informed throughout the process and provide tracking information for your replacement shipment.

Warranty Information

All our towbars come with manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims for manufacturing defects are handled separately and may be processed directly with the manufacturer for certain products.
